Kathmandu: Digital payment service provider Fonepay has partnered with online marketplace Jeevee to integrate its Checkout by Fonepay payment facility, allowing customers to complete online purchases through participating mobile banking applications.

Under the new integration, Jeevee customers can select Checkout by Fonepay during checkout and make payments directly through supported mobile banking apps. The partnership is aimed at making the online shopping and payment process faster and more convenient.

To mark the launch, Fonepay and Jeevee are offering customers a 20 percent cashback on eligible purchases, capped at Rs500 per customer. The offer is valid from August 18 to August 31, 2026.

“With the integration of Checkout by Fonepay with Jeevee, we are bringing a simpler and more seamless payment experience to online shoppers,” said Diwas Kumar, CEO of Fonepay. He said the partnership was another step towards making digital payments more convenient as Nepal’s e-commerce sector expands.

The company said the Jeevee integration is part of its broader effort to expand Nepal’s digital payment ecosystem by connecting more merchants and financial institutions through digital payment solutions.

Fonepay said Checkout by Fonepay is intended to simplify online transactions and provide customers with a seamless payment experience across a growing network of digital platforms.
